API Advice for User Suspension, User Part of Proposal Approval Workflow

We currently have an user integration (provision/deprovision). We are working on configuring the logic for removing the specific "Proposal" assignment for Corrigo User as part of the account disablement (suspended status). Is there a dedicated API endpoint URL to retrieve and remove this specific assignment for users?

For example: if a user is currently part of a proposal approval workflow, there is an error that must be resolved before the user can be suspended.
